Maybe this is hopelessly naive, but how come the little smilies get mixed up on my computer? Also the other little pics? for example, the little grren dot that used to be there (next to the poster's name) when he/she is online--has been replaced by a poodle? (Ashes' avatar I think). Not that I have anything in particular against poodles, but what am I screwing up? In many cases, a smilie is replaced by an avatar. As I write this, the EEK smilie has been replaced by Planterz' avatar, the stick-out tongue smilie has been replaced by I, and the wink smile has been replaced by the underline sign....

I remember it being a cache problem in Firefox. Here's a link to a similar thread:

Synopsis: A hard refresh (control-F5) might fix it but you will probably have to empty your cache. Expect that to keep happening, maybe every few days, until the Firefox people fix it. Somehow the cached images are getting mixed up....
