Being a big fan, I try to read every post on Opinel knives but have yet to see any picks of Opinels with the slimmer handle.
These are made for Coghlan's and have the same style of handle as the Opinel fishing knife.
Coghlan's is a Canadian importer of camping equipment so maybe this design hasn't made it's way down south yet.
I am planing on having ten Opinels for my survival supplies so I went to Lee Valley to get a straight handle Opinel but now that I've played with the straight handled one I prefer my old curved handle Opinel.
