Recently, I came across a dealer who used to sell Buck knives for years and years in my country.
Now, they no longer do so. I was told that Buck knives have become too expensive for the local market and being in the business of making money, they decided to "close shop" as far as Buck knives are concerned.
I know Buck knives can be bought through dealers on the Internet but there's nothing like feeling and holding them in your hands before making a decision.
So I thought I let the Buck people here know that there are some great Buck fans here in Malaysia who are left out in the cold.
I don't know if this problem is beyond you nice people. I know Malaysia is a trifle far away, like right on the other side of the Pacific!
Well, maybe one of these days you all will come up with something.
It is to my great regret to say that the exchange rate is very much against our favour: 4 to 1. That's the main reason why sports shops run away from most American knives, like Buck for example.
Heck, I am one great Buck fan. I have a couple of Bucks in my drawer. One of them is the Buck Master. In fact, I have two. One grey, one black.
