LOL, what the hell was he trying to forge there?! :)

Pretty cool though -- a "portable" 500 lb LG :D

I've heard of getting the biggest you can afford, but that might just be a bit tad overkill...

OH MY GOD! Who is this guy and why does he have at least three enormous little giants right there?

And I can't even watch the VIDEO! Damn you Jason, thanks for posting this and you're a standup guy- but you don't know what you've done to me with this vid I can't immediately and repeatedly watch. I think I've only ever seen one pic of a 500# LG.

Next time I go to town I'm bringing the laptop.

Edited to add: I'm sorry, FOUR enormous little giants right there.

Nice !
I also think Fonzie is looking for his hot rod engine......who said a motor has to be ugly and gray.

He made a larger steel version of a chewed piece of bubble gum.

See I knew if there was one place on the planet where this could truely be appreciated for the art it is, it was here :)
Salem I;m sorry for giving you a complex buddy. My wife's going for a psychology degree, maybe she can help you out man :D

It totally is art.

I spent 20 min. and was able to load about 30 sec. of the vid. It was pretty awesome.

Am I the only one who immediately thought of Indian George when I saw that? ;)

The only thing I thought when I saw it was "I want it!!!" I'd have to take out a loan to buy steel to make billets on that thing! Something tells me it burns more gas than my forge though.

What cools that engine?

I see no water or rad.

Do they just rely on oil to keep it cool & shut it down in time?
