Large and small !!!!

Really, with AL handles, great blade steel and shape, slick deployment, and a solid lock, what more could you possibly ask for? Nothing ! I feel like honestly these two knives obsolete my whole collection except for my fixed blades... Just got the Large Presidio today and I couldn't help but share :)

I love my mini-presidio ultra. However I had screw problem, I contacted seller who took knife and sent it for BM to fix. However it was love at first sight and feel. Its one of those folders that never really get attention they deserve. Great choices.

Another great Pardue design. On another note - I wish they would take the 3550 handle design and make it into an Axis folder with a little different blade style. 3550 is another great designed knife by Pardue.

I love that Presidio. I own the Presidio Ultra, but I'm always looking forward to getting the 520, simply an outstanding knife...

There is a guy in our batt. who dropped his mini presidio in a field and found it a year later with no issues. Gave me some more respect for benchmade

There are only 2 kinds of folders.... Ones I've waved and once I haven't waved.

What more can I ask for in the Presidio? I would like a lock that doesn't break every friggin' whipstitch. I could also do without unfixable up-and-down blade play.

On paper, the Presidio has everything I want in a folder. It even has the comfiest handle of any folder I've ever used. After sending it back to the store once and sending it back to Benchmade for repairs two additional times in just a couple months, though, I decided it wasn't worth it any more. :barf:

Presidio's are great knives, I've had my 520 for over a year now and its great. Solid handle and lockup.

Ordered a Mini Presidio from Bladeworks and Mini Ultra from forum member. The latter says its out for delivery today :D...

I have to say Benchmade is good about making large and small versions of the same design. I cant think of many other non benchmades that have a mini replica

heck the knife itself is so big you may not even need to use the blade haha a hit across the head with this handle would knock out a white tail :)

Dorito, sorry to hear about your bad experience. before I went and purchased the 520 online I looked a a few peoples rants like this, and I was slightly put off. BUT I have to say its perfect. Maybe give it another shot sometime, sounds like you got a sour lemon.

I hope that's all it was...Lots of people seem to be totally satisfied with theirs, so mine might have been a total fluke. I'd be pretty tempted to get another one if I can find one at a brick-and-mortar store so'z I can inspect it for defects first.
