Okay, here's the deal...
The Kurgan is coming to confiscate all your knives and you only have time to hide one knife. That will be the only knife you have from this day forward. Which knife from your current collection do you choose to save?

As much as I would love to keep my fancy fixed blades and as much as I would love to keep the knives my friends here have kindly gifted to me and as much as I would cherish keeping my dad and grandfather's knives, the answer will always be:

Bought the day before my daughter was born and carried nearly every day since, this is my tuck-and-hide, give-up-the-rest knife. I hope that one day she looks at it and says, "Dad, I love that old knife of your's," and then it will be her's. If that means I never have a knife again, so be it.

For me it would have to be a knife that would last for the rest of my life. It would have to be a knife that would handle any chore thrown at it. And lastly, it would still have to fit in my watch pocket. No brainer for me... Heck, I might even be able to fight off the kurgan with this one
