While I was doing some research online to help me decide on a new fixed blade I came across these forums and decided on a Swamp Rat Rodent 6. I figured Bussekin wouldn't have such a legion of fans if there wasn't something there. Well I got it last week, and damn have I been impressed. But now I just ordered a TGLB and a Scrapivore, neither of which I NEED, but damn if I don't really really want them. I guess I am eating a lot of ramen this month. I see now how some of you Bussekin fanatics come to own such impressive collections.
 
It's a great way to spend your money. I haven't been more than a hundred feet from my TGLB since i got it. It goes everywhere with me now

it's my favorite knife by a wide margin.
 
Good to hear you were satisfied with your purchase. Is it weird to be addicted with out even owning one yet? I couldn't resist I ordered a rodent solution last night. Now 3-6 weeks of waiting:mad:
 
The waiting is horrible but well worth it. It was bad waiting for the Rodent 6 but I am already impatient for the TGLB to get here and I ordered that today. And damn I wish I had seen the Argonne Assault before I went to Afghanistan.
 
post in the emotional support thread, then make sure you update it when you get your knife.

"There goes my savings account" LOL. I'm right there with you brother. Every time I see a knife that I like, it comes up for sale on this forum! To make it worse, I don't only collect knives..this is a disease.
 
You need a sample of ResC in your collection! Better order a 711. You'll thank me later.

I agree, however it is the 1311 that caught my eye. Now I just have to wait for it to become available to non forum members.
 
Yeah, you are done for now... It's a sickness, but sometimes being sick is nice ;).

Though my wife seems to like me buying knives, because she doesn't even know about it, where as when I buy guns she always sees me bringing new ones home...
 
You've got a fever.. and the only prescription is more Busse. Gotta have more Busse!

Same case with my girlfriend. She does not much care or notice a new knife, but gets in a mood when I bring home a new gun. Or as is normally the case, discovers I brought home a new gun without saying anything and hid it somewhere.
