Just recieved two , of the Limited Editition 110 BCC knives . They are Great looking knives . My partner in crime , my 8 yr old son Joseph , took one look ,handled them and said Dad , there beautiful I'm putting them in the safe. I had to talk him in to letting them stay out , so I can play with them . Ever knife I buy its , in twos one for me and one for him . Been away from this site for a while , we had some problems with our son Joe early this spring . Every seems falling in place with him , thank God . Brought him to my ground blind this October ,All he wanted to do is shoot a deer . Tried to tell him he is to young to hunt deer . He said Dad this is over 200 acre's and nobody will know if I shot it , or you shot it . He is a Future hunter (maybe sooner ) , and Buck collector GETS NO BETTER THAN THAT . :D Pete

Very cool Pete. I'd guess the only thing better than 1 son is 2 :D My 110 arrived today, and it is sweet! I just can't swing buying in triplicate all the time.

Pete,,,Just curious where you got hold of TWO 110 BCC knives. Which ones are they?

Joe is right on this one Pete! Let him pull the trigger on one. Teach him how to aim and shoot with a .22 first.

Both my granddaughters took deer when they were 8. One used an '06 and one used a .308. Sure, Dad helped them some, but both downed their deer. I think Greatgrandpa (my Dad) was the most proud. Course me and their dad were too. As well as the moms.

Just one caution tho!!! Once he takes his first one, its all over then... He will be looking for that 8 or better from then on. And thats a good thang :D

Pack Rat , the knives were offerd to BCC members for 2007 it is a Chipflint 420HC steel blade and Nickel Sliver Bolsters with smooth Water Buffalo inlayed handels, 110.00 each . I guess Joe is right , I will bring him out some more and will see what will happen .You are a lucky man to have granddaughters that injoy the outdoors like yours do . And that is a good thing , regards Pete.....

Ok,thanks!,,I just didn't know which BCCI 110 you were talking about. I passed on that one this year. But have gone pretty overboard in previous years.

Daughters fussing over who gets which rifle when I kick off, granddaughters arguing which stand they are going to hunt in, 83 year old Dad getting in one more hunt, Mom frying up a huge batch of backstrap, mashed potatoes, gravy, and home made rolls.......... PRICELESS!!

well when you get the hunt done have him post his story in my hunt story knife give away...
the give away knife is a green new in clam pack 424 bucklite..
a good size for younger hunters!!!

Is just a shame that all of the kids now days don't get to do all the things that some of ours get or have gotten to do. Maybe it would change some of this what I call "rap crap" attitude.

When/if we get moved out to closer to the PAL ranch, I want to get involved in the youth hunting program that the Texas State Rifle Association has going. And what ever part of that the NRA has.

Teach them a little about huntin and knifen and maybe a little about collectin fossils. We have one place where a dozer turned over a shelf of limestone and there are a lot of tiny sea shell fossils. We all have fun cracking the different layers of limestone to see what is hidden in them.
