Well the ol USPO came thru today! 2222222222 Jet black Bufflo horn,smooooth of course,chip-flint,redpapered,baldheaded,nickle silver,finger grooved 112s...Am I the first to get one ????? Just gorgus they be...They really look different than the 110 version and not just size...The finger grooves on the 112 frame make it look dainty, in a wicked sort of way. My son Richard who recived the 110 for his birthday wants one of the 2 but one MUST go in my odd/rare 112 box....And its the perfect dress up carry 112! I did have to explain to KathyJo it was ordered MONTHS ago but it sure was worth the wait. Can you carry two Bucks at the same time?

I like the 112 but I haven't carried one for a bit.
Would've ordered that new one that this thread is about but forgot. Sheet.

So far as "dress up carry", for me, that would be either the TNT or Waimea. Or, my Sirus 298 ATS-34. Or my 889LE. The 112 is just too heavy in what I call "grown up" clothes (slacks)...so maybe that eliminates the 889LE.

yep i can go with a 298 or the 889 also...
for non work carry i will chose the 532 or the 501
for work i belive would carry a 184 now a days...

Well this paturlicr 112 has a lot going for it....Full chip-flint,verry rare for ANY buck theres a matching 110, only 150 total,baldheaded (also rare) NICE HORN!!!!!!!! NC bolster,BCCI....and finger groove! To me its the most "collectable" 112 Buck has issued for quite a while....Ill bet we see this one crack 200.00 for the few that will be sold...Ill neaver sell mine!

The dog got hers today and it looks great. Would like to see the club re run both of the 110 and 112, the only change being a plain blade of good steel. The dog even approved of me getting them!
 
I keep taking it out of the box.... I picked just one to admire....A classic 112 ! I havent straped it on yet but it is tempting...Is it a sellout?????Will one even show up on E;bay??? Thanks Buck for making such a coooool one!

Bucks, I agree w/ you. To me the handle was the best early designs made and I never understood why it did'nt sell well. Its really enough knife for suburbanites. No, need to leave the house prepared to field dress a deer each day. DM
 
So many Buck collectors get a new one and just put it in the toy box.....Mabe thats a sign of a advanced collector,but I MUST PLAY with mine! I really love to "Dress up" with a really cool 110/112... This years fundraiser is the perfect "DUC" The chip flint really is not a good edc because the blade is porious and food particles might inbed in it,but IT IS one of the neatest 112s ever made....
