There might be a bali in "The Mummy 2"....

Don't remember the exact title of the movie, but in the Mummy 2, the main character(the guy) opens what appears to be a bali...

If you got to www.apple.com and click on Quick Time they have movie previews...find the mummy 2(Mummies Revenge maybe??) and its a little clip near the end...looks like a bali to me...

Just thougt I'd let ya'll know..
 
Well what do you know? It is a bali. It's towards the end of the trailer right after they say who's in the movie. It shows Brendan Frazer flipping it for about half a second. Better flip than in the first movie.

the working title is "The Mummy Returns" which I think is kind of a dumb name

I read an early script review and it looks like it could be one of those movies that works on what I call the "tip the scale theory": the theory that the movie will be either really good or really bad; nowhere in between.

as for the bali: coolness!!!
 
I hope it's much better than the first. Was really disappointed when I saw it.

Well its most likely the same one he used in the first, if there's any continuity. i'll check the DVD tomorrow
 
The bali he used in the first Mummy had skeletonized handles. This one appears to have inserts.
