Not sure about anyone else - but the only Knife Show I ever see on TV is Cutlery Corner, which we all know how everyone feels about them.
I was always thinking there is definitely a calling for a higher end Knife show - where Blades that sell for $50, $100, $200, $1000, etc can be purchased with EZ-Pay Options on the Higher priced knives. To me a show like this would do well - gives customers a chance to see higher end knives on TV and the opportunity to be able to buy a $400 or $500+ knife where it would not be possible before. My most expensive knife in my 100+ collection of knives is $200 - but if there was a show having a Flex Pay option for a knife I cherished that was say $500, I know 6 easy payments would definitely make that an easier reality then having to cough up $500 all at once.

Was curiious what other Forum Members thought about a NEW Knife show..?

I doubt it would catch on. I wouldn't buy a knife I saw on TV cause I would think there is a catch. Do you normally buy stuff you see on TV?

Uh, suuure ... uhspeshally if it sells fer $19.95 ... but wait! if you send me yore munny NOW, I will send YOU a free bonus gift, GRATIS!

I don't think it'd catch on very well. Those shows are targeted towards people who know NOTHING about knives. I did hear though that in early 2013 we can be expecting a series about knife making featuring a very well known maker...I can't wait. Not sure if I can provide specifics or not but from what I understand, its going to be like "Sons of Guns" for the knife community.

ya know what would be cool...is a show a little bit different...have black smiths come in, do demo's, show custom pieces ect....that would be fricken great.....but to say another HSN style show but with case, kabar, or high end manufactured products would flop....in my opinion......lets make a show that showcases craftsmanship from individuals...the process, demos, ect.,, itll hard to hate on a show like that
