Doing my daily eBay scan, I have come across a ton of these things. It is really sad to see people use the Kershaw name and reputation to sell these subpar knives. :rolleyes:

I don't know if there is anything that can be done, but I just wanted to give the KAI employees that frequent this section a heads up.
 
Sadly lots of ebay sellers do that on everything just to try to make a buck or 2. Many buyers end up get screwed for subpar items cause of it. Buyer Beware and do research is really only good bet on quality pieces. Glad I found this forum :)

That sucks, those things are getting bids/purchases.

Also, scary hand in those pictures. The hand model could use a manicure.

The warnings at the bottom are my favorite.

Caution:

-After use the knife, wash and dry immediately with a dry cloth
-for safety, do not take it by hand when knife drop down
-Do not test sharp by finger
-keep and store knife away from Children easy to reach

I just check the "North America" or "US Only", and that gets rid of about 90% of the fakes. These are the first Kershaw fakes I've seen. I've seen a number of Buck and SOG fakes though.

I've seen quite a few obvious Kershaw fakes on there before, but the ones you linked to are aimed at people who probably don't know the difference. Sad.

Edit: I just noticed they are coming out of Hong Kong, but they won't ship to Hong Kong. They also reserve the right not to ship to an unconfirmed paypal address. Sounds legit and ethical. It's nice to know even rip-off sellers have limits, huh?
