There's just got to be, it's the spyderco way! I love the paramilitary 2, it's the perfect edc knife for me. The only thing I wish is that I could get it with a full serrated edge. I don't care if it's just a small run, it can't take much to pump out a couple hundred serrated blades. All that belly with an SE would make for tremendous draw cuts. most of my knife use comes at work, when I have to open taped up boxes with parts in them, and SE is just so easy to slide down the tape. It's also great to open the plastic pouches on the sides of boxes that contain shipping labels.

Or am I crazy and are SE's just out of style? I understand that a lot of people think they are hard to sharpen, but with the sharp maker, I find that SE blades are way easier to get and keep sharp.

So am I crazy, or are there others out there wanting this configuration?

They might release it, but don't hold your breath. I remember reading that the SE versions were not selling well. I have 4 SE Paramilitarys and I love them.

I'm still sour about my favorite workhorse, the SE Millie being discontinued. I'm a huge fan of the Para 1 ( and I have a few in PE ) though I've had no real interest in the Para 2 so far, an SE version would definitely change that! FWIW I like serrations on longer blades and the little bit of extra blade length on the Para 2 would easily accommodate a full set of teeth.... worst case scenario is I'll grab an Se Para 1.

Spyderco will regrind the serrations and turn it into SE for $25. They're doing this for me right now on a different knife.

wow, I'd love to see how that turns out. I don't think I'd send off my CF/S90v model for it though. I'd be scared you'd lose a bit of blade as both sides of the plain edge are beveled, and SE the edge is all on one side.

Got it in a trade, cleaned it up and sent it off to Golden!! :D

That would be an excellent service to offer. Then you can pick your favorite blade and get the edge you want. I see a P2 and Military heading over if this is true. Heck, maybe they can do while I'm out there near the Golden shop this summer.

Hmm....a Left Handed Millie with an SE blade????

I gotta buy another to do this with.
