There's just something about restoring an item...

Just restored a Swiss Champ back to shiny new condition, and all tool hinges operating freely again. Put on some handsome translucent blue scales and it's just a little thing of beauty that I love adding to my collection. I know most in here can appreciate the feeling of taking something old that most people would have tossed in the trash bin, and spent some elbow grease to bring it back to life instead of being an item at the dump somewhere, never to be seen again. They are never as perfect as brand spanking new in most cases, but it becomes a thing you'd rather have than the one you would have bought off a store shelf. Makes for a good day and maybe someday it will be something I hand down to a grandchild.

Pics! Or it didn't happen!:)

Well... I just took a bunch of pics only to have it tell me 'uploads are unavailable'. The only other option I have would be a link to another site and I keep a minimal online presence. sorry... I tried.
