that i cant shake. I dislike but like the knife. I wish i got it in a plain edge, but i kind of like the idea of partial serration, but i hate partial serration! I like the feel of the handles but dislike how cheap it feels. I love the axis lock, blade steel, clip that i put on it and the smoothness, but i just don't know what it is about it that makes me want to use it. It's like, i'll put it away for a few months, but then want to take it back out and carry it. I'm like that with my blur & my 110 also.

I have a paramilitary sprint run d2, a bm 710, and I still carry my grip with plain edge. I rebeveled it to slice better, and the edge, it is ugly, by me learning to free hand sharpen, but I love it. I keep it sharp, and I cut alot with it. The cheap handle feel, yeah, I know, but I still love it to. I know what you mean. I like the clack sound when it locks or closes. A great user for a fair price. My son Killian, 12, will probably get his first griptilian when he is 14. Now, for his 13th will be a SAK, just because it is better public relation knife for a youngin.

My first official knife from dad was a Victorinox Swiss Army Classic. I played with the tweezers, and dared not lose the toothpick. I recall messing up the blade sharpening it wrong on my dad's oil stone, but I really felt special, and thought what a cool dad I have, when I got that. I want my kids to feel that too.

Hi Suzuki -

My biggest problem with the grips is the handle and clip - they stick too far out of pocket when carried, and on the larger version, it is a little too bulbous on the end that sticks out.

I agree on the plastic handle, particularly on the larger version. On the smaller version it is not too terrible, but the larger one just has too much of that cheap-feeling plastic.

Both are quality pieces, and I love the lock and smoothness of them.

I am not planning on getting rid of them anytime soon, but I would carry them if they had slimmer scales and deep carry clips.

best regards -

I have the same gripes with the bulbous and cheap feeling hollow handles. Cuscadi and I are working together to fix that.

I have similar feelings about my 110, lack of pocket clip and one hand opening is the draw back, but in a week of no use I'm digging around trying to find it, just feels right sometimes.

Had a mini grip, only knife I've ever returned, the handle material, and pocket clip out weighed the positives, and it didn't have that feel to keep me coming back to it like the 110.
