I have been getting into thermal cameras. So far I have a flir scout and seek reveal xr ff. Been thinking/wanting sig echo sight. what do you have, thoughts, cameras.....

The Cat S60 smartphone with thermal camera seems to be the current best choice, since it's a great price ($600) for just a thermal camera and it comes with a fully functional, rugged, waterproof smartphone, too.

I got my S60 a year ago when they first came out and LOVE it! It's the first phone that I felt no need to put in an OtterBox case and the waterproofing is great:)

I've used the Flir camera quite a bit, for everything from checking food/Kydex in the oven to auto/power plant troubleshooting. If you guys have any questions about it let me know.

And yeah, $600 for a smartphone is cheap so I basically considered the FLIR to be free ;)

I bought mine directly from Caterpillar, unlocked for any network.
