Thermite.. adding detent hole?

I have a Kershaw Thermite that I bought specifically to practice some customizations on. So far I've flame anodized the lock side and liner bronze. Now I have the pocket clip, blade, and all silver hardware in some acid etchant.

I'm considering drilling a detent hole on the blade and trying it deassisted. Does anyone have an experience with this and could recommend what size bit? Thanks.
