Anyways... I'm anxiously awaiting in incoming blade by Daniel Winkler (pics from BladeGallery until I can take my own). It's full-tang (which I like, and not all of his knives are), and the blade shape appeals to be - drop point, not too deep of a blade. Has a bushcraft look about it to me. I can't wait to get it out in the bush... will be going snowshoeing in a couple of weeks!
This has inspired me to post pics of my "favorite 5" knives, including the incoming Winkler:

Here's a nice Nessmuk-style James Batson blade. This is full convex ground and cuts extremely well. Nothing I have (yet) will do feather sticks like this one:

Here's my most treasured folder; though I have many nice ones, I think this would be tough to replace:

This is my fav big blade; it's not huge, but I believe that it's solid enough to handle whatever I need of it, yet not too big to carry on a hike. It's a Busse Satin Jack Tac LE, full convex grind as well:

Lastly, I have to include this as it's the only knife I've made (well, I didn't forge the blade, of course). It's a Trond blade, and the handle is red/black dyed box elder burl with a reindeer horn spacer:

How about other fav-5 pics?
