I was watching a Lenny Magill video a while back and saw one of these thingamajigs. Lenny carried his AFCK, sans clip, in his trousers pocket in one of these. No clip showing, no one knows you are carrying an "ugly" knife in your dress pants!

Cool! In case it's not clear, that's a variation on a mousegun pocket holster. To improve it a LOT, add a small buttonhole to the bottom of the sheath on it's own small flap of leather and sew buttons on the bottoms of all your pockets.

Just in case you go to draw and the whole sheath comes popping out, the sheath WILL come to a dead halt when the pocket turns inside out!

Glad I could help! I figure that you guys aren't paying me to just sit around and look good so I better do something to earn my keep.

Wow, these guys are only about 8 miles away from me, I'll have to see if they have a storefront. Thanks Joel.

I've been trying to make a version of this in Kydex. I am not that adept at working Kydex at this time. Maybe one of you Kydex wizards out there could do it.

This is a great idea. Not only does it offer more concealment, it will also reduce wear on your pants pocket from the clip. I have a couple pairs of pants that are wearing through from the clip of my knife.

Excellent idea! I'm not sure about the kydex, though. Personally, if it's going to be a pocket sheath/holster, I'd like to keep it to soft, thin, and flexible materials. Looks like they are using some kind of pigskin.
