I don't want to sound offensive (I actually think it's nice looking knife), but that would really kill those pesky plastic ties at work. :D (I cut them reverse edged, pulling upwards if anyone knows what I mean).

Nice blade. I see nothing wrong with it. I carry a two blades and pistol everywhere, legally.

What's natural G11 ?

It's like G10, but +1.

Kidding aside, its very, very similar in composition and feel to G10, supposed to be tougher and more heat resistant, though. In practice and use, its bascially the same.

The 'natural' part refers to the fact that it is undyed. Natural g10 is that ghost jade color, whereas g11 is either a yellowish (as seen) or greenish, depending on the resin used in the composition.

Precicely what I use it for.

I'm a little confused. The blade is O1 but the hardware is 1095? Are the handle screws 1095? And whats the benefit of them being 1095?

Yep, the chicago screws are 1095. Originally they were aluminium, but due to matching finish issues I replaced them. Found some 1095 hardware on ebay and thought they'd look cool. They did.

No benefit that the end user would really see outside of asthetics.

Very nice! I carry a pakal knife myself. I do train in RGEI.

Heres another:

Ban Tang Pikal La Griffe in s30v. Chisel ground. Gun blue, Easy-Off and FeCl3 finish with distressed cubic etch.

Yeah, I've been training in FMA for about a year and a half now, RGEI is certainly the way to go (the Ban Tang is more gorrilla grip FGEU though.)

I EDC'd a Shivworks Disiple for some time, but I find the TSD Combat Systems offering to be better ergonomically, as well as more effective when processing meat at work.
