Let's see what you have.

You'd better list your equipment. You're going to get more questions. I have two questions but am hoping you'll just make a list :p

I've been thinking about putting a sling shot in my kit. Do you feel competent enough to take game with it? What kind is the one there?

Yes. Squirrels fear me.:D I generally chase off coyotes and racoons with them though. I have them set up at each door at the house and in each vehicle, besides in my pack.

I believe mine are the Marksman brand, but I bought some aftermarket rubbers for them from some site online.

I like those EZE-Lap rods. I have a couple stored in my packs. Same goes with the Strikeforce sparker.

How's that small alcohol stove working for you? ( forgot the name). I almost bought one last week.

Fantastic! I gave the older version of the Vargo Triad to one of my sons. This is the newer one and it boils two 16oz. helpings of water easily with one fill of alcohol.

Vargo... That's the one. Heck, how can a stove get any smaller ?? Great for a backpack trip. I thought if I get it , I'll keep the alcohol in one of those aluminum SIGG bottles. And yeah ! Slingshot ! Been carrying one in my bushbag for over 25 years. Almost silent firepower , specially with ball bearings.

Nice gear you have.

Is the sling really good enough to take out squirrels? I too was thinking of putting one in my pack!

Yes. With good rubber I've put 3/16" shot through them at approx. 20'-30'. I can get a headshot now at that distance to a good 15-20 yards. With 1/4" shot it's a sure kill.

Nice to see you have a magnifier.
That's an item of so much fun to have in the field, yet so easy to carry and versatile.

FINN BEAR! Rock on, I love that blade. I'll try to piece together a comprehensive picture of my favorite bushcrafting things as well.
