These are my two new beautiful Busse knives. I'm really digging the NMSFNOLE. I never liked the CG version, but this one is sweet! Love the nuclear treatment on satin steel, the convex edge, and the look and feel/balance of the knife. Don't know why I was so down on the CG, guess the satin/tiger makes it all go away :D.

This SFNO, likewise, is nicer than I thought. These tiger scales are among the nicest I've seen, and the strip/satinizing job was expertly done. Props to Bill Siegle for executing a flawless just-like-factory satin finish and edge sharpening job. The sheath is also awesome, a fusion of kydex w/ Spec-Ops pouch.

Great knives:thumbup:

Can we see all your SFNO goodness in one shot one day?? (I hope your ladder is high enough to capture them in one pic:D:D)

I really predict that the NMSFNO will be a classic as soon as, or soon after, they are no longer for sale at Busse. Freaking wonderful knives. I love the non-NM also.

G, I'm not sure the Solstice sabre is a stripped knife. I know Siegle worked on the edge, but I always thought it was an original satin/tiger sabre. Hence the visible BC logo. I'm sure Brian will be along to clarify, though.

I was just going to mention the logo too Jason.

Maybe it was bbdc and then polished with something like mothers paste.....might have left the logo?????????????

Very nice pair you have there mate.

Any chance you'll be sporting them together sort of like gunslinger style? No practical reason for this just thought it might make a great pic.

Congrats, I bought a NMSFNOLE thinking I was going to use it. But it is just too darn Bad Azz looking to use. Handles feel great in the hand. I guess I need a CG too use though. I havn't got to hold a SFNOLE yet, some day. Nice pics. :)

Very nice, the tiger hide looks awesome !!!

For some reason I seem to remember either reading or being told that it came from the shop that way. Again...Solstice will be able to clear it up.

Either way...it IS a beaut. That damned BaconSlinger has THREE knives with TH SFNO slabs now. :grumpy:

I can't front though...if I had to pick a guy to have 'em, it'd be him. Nice pulls, brother.

I believe ya'll are right. I got confused by his description of it, but now that I re-read it, it seems it is an original satin finish, however, Bill redid the satin finish when he redid the edge, that would explain the lighter logo mark.
