Just wanted to let you guys know that my SOG Haul has arived safe and sound. My M.O. took a while to get to SOG, but once it arived, the knives were shipped really fast. Thanks Loretta.:D;)

I can't stop playing with my new knives. They sure are sweet. When I opened the folder, my first thought was "Wicked!". Talk about SHARP!:D I don't think I've ever gotten a NIB knife this sharp. It's like a Razor blade.:eek::D

The Fixed Blades are sweet too. Perfect grind lines, great heft and balance, a bit blade heavy which will help with chopping. Aside from RC marks, these knives are not Seconds in my opinion. But I'm not complaining about the price.;)

If you guys haven't already checked out the seconds, DO! I'm sure Loretta has more in stock now. lol

Think I'm going to tell you?;):plol Actually, I got the Racing Red Auto Clip and a Tsunami. These two knives are like razor blades:eek::D I can't see why the Tsunami was discontinued, it's one sweet knife. With the powered coating, tanto point and comfy kraton handle it would make a great dive knife.

BTW Ron, nice to see you, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!;) And yes, these knives are sharp, Wicked scary Sharp!!

I really like the Tsunami and think it will end up replacing my SOG Government as my "Field knife". Even though the Tsunami is shorter than the Government, the blades are both the same length. The balance point on the Tsunami is better for chopping and it's a little lighter too. Which makes it a little easer to pack all day when you already carry a lot of stuff.
 
For all those that are wondering, YES the Tsunami and AutoClip have taisted Roast.:D a 3 pound roast that was cooked for 5 hours in the Dutch oven. Both knives were overkill, but it was lots of fun.:D

great SOG score !! And good to see they've been tested in the only real fashion that makes perfect sense: against your awesome Roast Beef !!

And I wouldn't be worried about the "lower weight" of your Tsunami vs. the Gov't..... you'll get more weight in dirt in your socks after a couple hours of mtn biking.

This is a fault I'll take without a worry. Stealing your girlfriend would be a different story I wouldn’t want you faulting me for! ;) Oh, I forgot I’ve been married for the past 14 years! ;)

Carl, thanks for the kind comments. Now just find a way over here so you can enjoy the Roasts (and steaks) with me.;)

You only get dirty socks if you biff it;). Lance (my room mate) and I go biking at least twice a week. One of these trips I'll bring my Tsunami and HI Khukuri and give the two a real work out.:D

Thanks Ron, for pointing me in the direction of the Racing Red Auto Clips. This knife is sweet!:cool:

I don't have a girl friend, so I think I'm safe there;):p he he he
