Dexter Ewing and Kelly Yates just left this morning for NC (back home)
We had a great time. They made a couple of great knives and wore me out.

They (dexter) gave my dog a complex. Ill have to take him the doctor monday for an evaluation and many visits for theropy...

Kevin P from the Edge Equiptment was here also. We had a great time . Bob and Kevin came up with some good ideas and prototype kydex folder sheaths for the apogee and edc folders.

All in all a great time.. Not enough sleep though..

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Oh man what a trip! Thank you again Darrel for putting up with Kelly and myself for several days. We learned a lot and enjoyed working on our knives (pics to come later). Even though you worked us good it was all well worth it. Tell Ian that Dickster said hello

Does Bruno miss me yet??

Gotta get him a Photon II for his collar. LOL!! How did Bob like the little "present" that Kevin made up for him? LMAO!

What a blast! Darrel and his family were great hosts. I'll write up a report later, but here's a scan of the double-action EDC that I had a hand in making.

Here's one thing I learned from the trip - DO NOT try to put a hand rubbed finish on a 420V blade! Unless, of course, you have a whole day to spend doing it...

It was worth it in the end though.

Thanks again, Darrel.
