Seriously.
While I TOTALLY sympathize with the Middle East's dissatisfaction with the US messing in the internal affairs of countries in the region, and our supporting of repressive regimes, and I would support the the right of them to democratically pass any law in their own countries, even ones I might disagree with, this whole going violent over words (ie Van Gogh, Salmon Rushdie, political cartoons) just goes to show why the whole region is in the total mess it's in, and also shows that if they aren't willing to peacefully protest things they don't like in Western Countries then they should move back to the theocracies that they came from.
