Order another BOSS Jack (CG) that is… Black blade with orange & black (in the spirit of Halloween) handles, and no choil. I will throw up some pics as soon as she arrives (4-6 weeks, BST - Busse Standard Time :rolleyes::foot::D). In the mean time, will anyone share some pics of this color combo on the BJ (or any pics of different color combo’s on the BJ?) I was thinking of a Muddy Pumpkin, or Jungle Green Pumpkin and would love to see some pics of those. I did search and came up with photos of the Muddy Pumpkin, but no Jungle Green Pumpkin. Any pics would be much appreciated.

Congrats on the great knife. That combo will look real nice that you got.
I used to own this one, jungle green blade/black micarta scales.

Boss Jack looks like a sweet and useful configuration. If I had the bread I'd be all over one for certain.

Congrats on the score! I just got another BJ on Friday. I think it's a great blade. Light and agile, yet fully functional. Beef sharpened this one, and just like my Hack Bear Cub that was sharpened by Beef, this baby is SHARP. I am very close to ordering an LE, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

I haven't gotten out to use this one yet, but here's a shot next to another knife I got on Friday:

The shipping notice is for my Arctic Rucki! I'm bummed because I worked from home today, yet still ended up with a notice. The mailman didn't even bother to check if I was home :(.
 
Quick! Get a third one before they're pulled from the store!... or fourth? I don't know how many you have already :rolleyes: I ordered one, caved in and got another two weeks later, then caved in AGAIN and bought one from another forum member about a month and a half later.
 
Another one I have been struggling with..... they look like a nice blade....just can't decide if I "NEED" one... ;)

I'm not sure what other blades you've got, but IMO the Boss Jack is a superbly versatile knife..
And as the current offering, its at a great price (comparing to when it's no longer offered from Busse) and you get to select the colour combo!

Pumpkin jungle green is one of the best colour combos :thumbup:

These things ARE addictive - just splurged on a third BOSS Jack myself (Thanks =MAX= :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: )

Max, you sure look like you’re getting your money’s worth out of that BJ! Green & black canvas sure is a nice looking color combo; same BJ as Flux when it was new, right? Very, very nice Max & Flux!!:thumbup:

Jaxs that Muddy Pumpkin does look sweet; as does the Jungle Green Pumpkin in the second photo (BJ chopping)! And the LE Pumpkin – GORGEOUS!!! Perfect pics of what I’m looking for, Thanks!:thumbup:

I may have to reconsider the black blade & give Lexi/Amy/etc a call tomorrow! A black, muddy & J. green pumpkin pictured together (or any blade color w/ pumpkin) would be fantastic if somebody has any of those! TIA.

FWIW, I had 2 BJ’s: one Proto from a Ganzaa (satin w/ red/black & no fuller) that I recently traded for a FBM-LE + cash, and I own one satin w/ black paper LE (w/ choil). So I will be back up to 2 in a month or two (I still may get a 3rd {& 4th - depending on my financial situation). However, I do have 2 SAR-6’s, a fat ASH-1-CG and a satin, saber-ground smooth-bolt SJTAC (plus my BJ-LE and a Strider GS-GG – 6.25”); so I’m covered in the 6”-7” blade length.

What I need is a NMSFNO or another FSH (the FSH I have is a Variant; it has Mammoth Tooth w/ black G10 and will honestly probably never be used - same with my DSF variant) or Mojo to cover the 8” BL; albeit I do have a SAR-8 and DSF variant (both I absolutely love) for 8” – and the SAR-8 is one of my favorite Busse’s of all-time so I will certainly be picking up another of those at some point; maybe with a fancy handle so I don’t care about using my current SAR-8! I could also use a BATAC (well, a BA-3 would be way before a BATAC – or almost any model for that matter), Meaner or AD, maybe a GW & maybe a HR and many others...

P.s. Flux, you definitely won't regret getting an LE! ;)
