In a single day, I was at a party/cookout and I used:
1) The parcel hook to carry a six pack of imported beer by the cardboard handle.
2) The scissors to cut string to hang some balloons.
3) The large blade to cut tomatoes and onions for the burgers.
4) The small blade to cut open a case of beer someone else brought.
5) The bottle opener because some people brought those imported bottled beers without the twist off caps.
6) The corkscrew because this girl brought a bottle of wine and no one had a corkscrew.
7) The can opener to open a can of olives for the Martinis.
8) The reamer/awl to "shotgun" cans of beer later when the party started getting wild.
