Hi Guys,

They should put a warning label on the boxes of Hinderer Knives...."Warning Highly Addictive"!

With the help of some great BF regulars like Franzdom and Maprik, I started my addiction into Hinderer knives with these two new beauties.

I would have to concur with everyone here, they are smooth as "buttah". I am also quite surprised how much different the 3.5" vs 3.0" knives are...although there are only 1/2 an inch different in blade length the two knives feel completely different from each other. Hmmm I wonder what the HX24 would feel like....8^)

Thanks again Franzdom and Maprik for all the help and advice, could not have pulled the trigger without you two.

Andrew

welcome to the madness my friend

What a couple of beauties! I love that blue one even more now with your new picture, congratulations!!! You have gone deep fast, reminds me of someone, now who could that be :D

Absolutely gorgeous! Both knives are stunners! You really did your homework and it paid off!!!! Welcome to our ward of the hospital!!!

Yes Franz, you are definitely my SiFoo....(Master) when it comes to buying knives....8^)

You too Philip, you're just as guilty.

Now for the accessories...some anodized standoff and maybe a couple of scales???....when does it end!

Absolutely gorgeous knives! I'm curious? How did you get ones with the horse logo on the blade? I see many Hinderer's (or pictures of them at least) without any markings on the blades.

Well done! Thanks for the great pics. You'll have to let us know how you're getting on with them when you become more familiar, especially regarding the difference in size between the 2.

Beautiful Orange XM-24 Andrew, I was thinking I need to check out a 3.5" myself, now I am sure of it! Please let me know when you find a really nice 3.5, perhaps a flipper slicer :)

By the way everybody, the toothy edge on my Hinderers are the sharpest I have ever had. I think now that a proper toothy edge may be better than the polished that I have put on my small Sebenza.
