nice looking set there. I really want a Regulator for a lighter, but still strong option to my Ash1CG.

The Res C handle should shave some real weight off, and make for comfy use.

I wonder why the ones at the Yard are mono tempered, and these versions were listed as differential temper?

The Regulator LE's appear to be made of test team blank leftovers (notice the choil, spine, and grind compared to the current regulator). That makes me feel like they're probably pretty darn limited, as obviously the TT edition was not what made the final cut (no pun intended...kinda).

The TT edition was differentially tempered but I believe that the final version was mono/through tempered in order to keep the costs down as amazingly low as they are. I mean, really...that much steel for that little cash? Wicked. I ordered two of both the standard and the LE.

In comparison, the standard seems to be a bit blade heavier, and not quite as quick in the hand. I believe the standard regulator would make a better field knife / chopper / all around knife and I believe the LE would make a better fighter. However, the difference between the two is not insane....they're fairly minor differences that I think all but the very pickiest of knife users could deal with in either direction. The LE would make a fine chopper/field knife (for what it is) and the standard would make a fine fighter.

Either way, both are a heck of a bargain.

Congratulations, nice scores! How does the TM Boss Street feel in the hand?

Sorry for the delayed response. I changed my email address and couldn't post for a few days because I never recieved the activation email.

The Boss Street feels amazing! I have big hands too, it it feels like it is designed for me.
