As of late im just into the look of the over built ,thick blade folders..I know of Striders and Medford which are awesome but im just not ready to spend that kind of money on one knife but im sure i will talk myself into it at some point... so i bought myself a Benchmade 755mp, cool knife pretty beefy but it didn't really fit the bill soooo..i bought a Quartermaster Ba Baracas karambit which i like and seems to be more what im looking for....but now im on a mission to find something that's thicker and heavier...and i cant find anything !!!!! Boker,Spyderco, and Extrema Ratio are out. Cool knives but nothing i want to pull the trigger on...To be honest i think the Medford folders have me brainwashed and im looking for a knife that can compete with it but at a price i can live with..Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions or should i just shut up and buy a Medford..? Thanks

Take a look at at the Bad Blood line of knives, they're pretty meaty and not too spendy, you should be able to find something interesting in there.

Price range....around $200 maybe $300....I'll check out Bad Blood and Lionsteel...Thanks guys

Hogues are pretty beefy.

LOL....I'm a knife junky that's for sure and it's the 1st time on a forum for me..Pretty cool !!!! Now if i can only figure how to add a profile pic i might be ok..

Tiger jump another knife i haven't heard of.....Now that's what im talking about...Im going to be spending money soon i know it...Hope i don't get myself in trouble

Can I ask why spyderco is out? They use some top of the line steels at amazing prices for what you get. The Techno in CTS-XHP and the Southard in CTS-204P are two with thicker blades and both very cool (but different) looking (tho the southard looks a lot like any other Brad Southard custom)

As mentioned the DPx HEST/f 2.0 (in D2) or even the HEST milspec (Sleipner) are pretty beastly knives.
