Thick Tispine edge?

I am contemplating getting a tispine as a bonus for myself. From what I remember is the past though I believe this comes with very thick edges correct? Since it's an edc for me I prefer thin edges. Just not a huge fan of the massive bevel to this it out. Is this still accurate?

Are you talking about the blade stock or the bevel? If a factory edge will turn you away, then a lot of other knives will too.

Sorry I am talking about the material behind the bevel. I have no problem sharpening. I enjoy that. I Just know some edges aren't very fine and the bevel will look huge when I take the edges down to 15* per side or less. So I am hoping the stock of the bevel is thin. I'm not worried about the angle of the stock edge.

It is a quite OK blade profile and resonably thin behind the bevel (similar to what spyderco does with the sage).

Of course and this is unfortunately true for most production knives (the exeption beeing some traditional blades, Opninel, Laguiole) it could be a lot thinner and still be sufficently strong for the intended usage.

If you really need to pry something use a prybar or a screwdriver.

I agree. I'm a traditional knife fan and carry a Mayo TNT and CRK which all have thin edges. But from it sounds like this should be fine. Now to go find one.
