Thick vs regular (thin) titanium lock bar

I see custom emersons listed sometimes as have "thick" titanium. I notice in pictures that the lockbar is much thicker and it makes the other (older?) thin bars look wimpy..
Should I concern myself with this? Any opinions? Thanks
 
I don't think i'd worry about it but if given the choice i'd take the thick liners all day long. You could always have your emerson pimped and have the thin liners replaced with thicker ones possibly i guess if theres room. Or just made into a ti framelock i suppose.
 
I don't think the "thin" versions will create any issues--Look at how thin his production liners are. It seems he changed the 2011 mini7 and mini A100 liners to be even thinner--to a point where I'm actaully questioning it. Before the liners in respect to the entire handle seemed perfect and even beefy in thickness; whereas now, with one gaze it seems cheap as hell because the liners are thinner.
