Thicker Knives on the Wicked Edge?

So I recently picked up a Scrapyard American Regulator and would love to sharpen it on my Wicked Edge, problem is the knife is 0.330" thick. Does anyone here have a trick to get the clamp to hold thicker knives? Perhaps a trip to the hardware store for a longer screw?

You'll probably need longer screws for both the top and bottom.THIS PAGE has the size... might want to double check though. If you call WE, they might have some they can send you... they used to anyway.

You'll also need an angle gauge or some other way to set the angle... a blade that thick will make the angle bar inaccurate.
 
^Curtis is right, get some longer screws and an angle cube 😊
 
Longer screws should work. :thumbup:

I found sharpening my regulator on paper wheels a challenge even due to how steep of an edge angle was on it from factory... :foot::rolleyes:
