Just wondering if y'all have ever tried it can you make a thigh rig for a knife that doesn't in anyway attach to a belt using 2 one inch webbing and clip? The sheath would be kydex

that was confusing let me rephrase that can you make a completely dependent on strap going around your leg knife sheath?

if so what would be some good professional looking ways to attach the webbing to the sheath? That is using something other than paracord through the eyelets

Belt attachment via a drop loop keeps it from sliding down. Your thigh isn't really shaped for just two straps. Of course you could just have a clip on the drop loop part to allow it to attach to your pants instead of a belt, unless you're not wearing pants either ...

Haha lol nah it would be when The customer is wearing a backpack that has this side pouch thing with no room for a knife I'll se if he's open to that suggestions maybe just going under the belt

I've seen those compression sleeve things that wrap around the thigh and velcro in place. The thicker ones look fairly solid. Probably have to make and sew some type of nylon or leather backer onto it to attach the sheath. Might be worth looking into.

KK thx Kiah without you experts I'd still be riveting my eyelets with the tool upside down ;)
