Man I am absolutely falling in love with the RAT RC-4...I want one so bad. Now I'm just convincing myself that I NEED one. :D

If I needed every knife I bought I wouldn't have very many. LOL

There good for looking at, playing with, braggin about, so much more than just needing them. :D

Bill

yes you do need one and a Izula and a RC-3 and RC-6 and a HEST and a RC-5,
get to it you have woek to do.

p.s. RATs love you back

If I justified every knife I bought, I'd probably only have 2 :D

So in other words buy it!

all b/s aside, buy it you will not reget it. but make sure you lock it up,
my buddies will not leave it alone. my son inlaw just headed back to
afghanistan with the canadian military, and he just fell in love with it.
going to try and get him one when he gets back.

I was in your place too. It was a dark place... I ordered an orange handled RC-4 some time ago, waiting for it to come in.

need it I do :D

I have rc3, rc4 and hest but I need rc3 and rc4 with the orange handles. I simply cant live without them. My wife cant understand the obsession. Is it late 2010 yet? I dont know how much longer I can wait for the izula folder.

You can never go wrong with the rc4. Take my advice and dont tell the wife how much you spend on them though. Most of my family and friends think i'm crazy for spending close to $100 on a knife. Little do they know its been far from just one knife, so so far.

watch out Rc-4 was my frist RAT just over a year later I now own ten RATs.
they multiply like rabbits.awsome useful sharp rabbits.
I'm a RATaholic and thats ok.

You will not regret the RC-4, I was in the same position awhile ago. Bought the knife and have never looked back. If it is your first RAT add an Izula to the order too. It is another knife that you will never regret, not to mention you will end up with at least one anyways.

Mine should be in the mail as we speak! My izula needed something to keep it company :)
Actually I'm really looking forward to testing it and seeing how it holds up to my Fallkniven F1. For the last 10 years it has been my go to woods/survival knife so we'll see if it gets usurped.

I own both and well... both have pros and cons. The F1 is a better slicer due to the grind and uncoated blade. Excells at food prep and doesn't rust. The RC-4 has a better sheath (Kydex) it is easier to sharpen with a stone (softer steel and V edge instead of convex) and handles well.
