Looking for a locking folder with steel such as 20CV, M390, XHP.
A blade thickness of .118" to .090".
I will consider thinner.
Thanks!

Mini grip in 20cv?

Are you trying to make this a "want to buy" thread or looking for recommendations?

More info would be helpful to narrow down the choices.
1. Price range?
2. Blade length range?

I'll list two of my favorites.

Knifejoy : 20CV Delica under 3" blade at .098" $110, Endura 20CV about 3.7" at .118" $115 . I own the Endura, very nice.

Kizer has a bunch of models with a blade thickness of 0.11". For instance, the Mini Begleiter is one of my favorite small-sized EDC knives. There is at least one current premium version in 20CV but don't discount the base models in N690. It's a good budget steel. That said, the Gemini is one of my all-time favorite knife designs. Mojave Outdoors has a beautiful exclusive in burlap Micarta and N690. Otherwise, the titanium framelock version runs S35VN.

The Hogue Deka has a blade thickness of 0.09". It is available in 20CV but I'd go with MagnaCut. (I see H HexY3co beat me to it as I was writing this.)

You might also want to check out Quiet Carry. Their Drift, Waypoint, and iQ all have a blade thickness of 0.09". The first two are totally rust proof with Vanax blades and LC200N for parts. (I don't have personal experience with Vanax but everything I hear is good.) The iQ uses Elmax, which is another premium steel with similar properties to S45VN.

gazz98 gazz98 already gave some good recommendations from Spyderco. If you want to go thinner, their Chaparral in XHP has a blade thickness of around 0.08".

well, the CRK Mnandi is like .09" ... if you want something on the higher end of the scale
quite a looker

Spyderco slysz bowie with m390 comes to mind, kind of hard to find though! knife joy did a run not to long ago but the price is in the 600. range.

Spyderco Stretch 2 or Stretch 2XL (0.118" thick). Various choices of construction (lightweight to fully lined), and different steels, zdp / VG10 / K390. No M390/20CV/XHP though, but very nice size (3.5 or 4") for that thin of a blade.

Thank you, this is helpful.
I like the Spyderco blade grinds and didn't know about the 20CV Delica.:)
I will check out the Kizers.
TRM: Neutron or Atom as well.
Thanks

BTW, this is the Mojave Outdoors exclusive of the Gemini I mentioned. Yeah, it's only N690 but like I said, that's okay for my EDC needs. This design, by Ray Laconico, is one of my all-time favorites. I feel like everyone should own one version or another of the Gemini. :)

If you want something bigger than the Delica but smaller than the Endura, the Endela also comes in 20CV at .118" . DLT also has a black 20CV blade too.

It should be noted that the blade stock is .118", but the way Spyderco grinds the Full Flat Grind Delica/Endura/Endela, there's a "step" at the thumb hole where the grind begins that's noticeably thinner (plus the entire blade thins from there to the tip). I don't have an Endura or Endela myself or I'd get out my calipers and tell you the thickness where it "counts", but I can tell you that the "thinner" Benchmade Bugout blade is actually thicker than the Delica is where the grind actually begins.

There always seem to be dealer exclusive delicas, endela, or enduras in 20cv. I have one and its a fine knife at a very good price in my opinion.

Aluminum scaled bugout in m390 or the carbon scaled variant in S90v
