Thin knife with partial serration

I have been carrying the Cold Steel Air Lite in the bit slot of my Leatherman sheath for the last 2 years. A great light, thin, durable knife with a big thick blade for its look that always surprises people, better than the blade on the pliers. The perfect knife for me.

Now, my job has slightly changed. I'm looking for something similar but with serrated/combo blade. It is very niche. I would like to hear some suggestions.

Regard

P/s Spyderco are not thin enough.

You can have David Mary David Mary thin one out for you, even have him add special serrations too if you so desire. That’s one of his forte’s on Spyderco’s, and others too.

You can check out some of his work in his Hosted Knifemaker Sub-Forum at this link below.

Feel free to contact him in his profile, or he may even pop into your thread here too.

Does the Bugout come with serrations....?

How'ya feel about a small fixed blade? It opens up some options, though if you work around NKPs, that may not be an option.

Blade-wise or handle-wise?
I should've been more precise. I have a basic endura 4. Its handle is not thin. I also had a dragonfly.

I want it to fit into the Leatherman pouch, so no fixed blade.

SOG has some very thin handled knives. Not my first choice, ever, but they have some. None serrated from what I can tell until you get into their slightly wider models.

The benchmade turret has partial serrations and a really high ground thin blade, shame they stopped producing them after a year but I'm sure you can find them on the knife swap subreddit where I found mine.

If you already love the Air Lite (I do as well), then maybe consider having it modified to add serrations?

+2

I love the super-thin feel of the Air Lites and their surprising strength (a YouTube "Air Lite Strength Test" video convinced me).
Having someone add serrations would give you a "custom" Air Lite at what I'd guess would be a low cost.
