Any hogs out there with the specs for this blade? One has been offered to me (user) and I can't find much about them. Also, is it chisel or convex grind? Thanks.

Here's some info/pix for ya. The pix SUCK but they should work...

The Thin NICK has a chisel grind and on that side is a full height grind from the top of the chisel grind to the spine on the logo side. The other side is completely flat ground from the edge to the spine & from the tip of the blade to the butt end of the full tang handle. It appears to be approx.3/32 in. thick (THIN!) using a standard 12 in. ruler. They have black paper scales for handles. Very lightweight. Here's 2 shots for size comparison. I hope that I used the right knife terminolgy, feel free to correct me!! :D I hope this helps. :)

Thanks Jaxx. How do you like it? Also, any idea what the price for a new one was when it was released?

I haven't used it yet, my kitchen here suxx, these are for my new place, better kitchen. :) sort of a housewarming thing, LOL. Looks to be handy as it can flex, also food prep, bread/meat/veg cutter, etc. the other NICK (XXL) looks better for slicing through bone and harder raw veg. I'm NOT a chef, so others may disagree with my unprofessional opinion. :D Original price? I can't remember, but if you dig back through the past thin NICK sales in the Exchange, I KNOW that one of the Sellers posted that original price in a sale thread. Bravado, maybe? I'm not sure... NOT too many THIN NICK sales, so you should find it pretty quickly. :)

Cool!!! I'm looking forward to using it for chopping the **** outta some food! LOL Thanks for the link.:thumbup: :D
