Thin slabs?

I've been fondling my MrS lately and have come to the conclusion that it's mostly an SD-oriented knife with the ability to handle lots of utility work. I'd like to carry mine IWB but frankly the slabs are a bit thick.

Anyone ever significantly thin the slabs down on their MrS? I'm wondering if (a) it's worth the effort/cost and (b) it looks OK afterwards.

thinning the slabs is a fairly easy thing to do. I prefer them on my EDCs.

I don't see why it wouldn't look as nice as the standard slabs. Just sand off the machining cutouts and it will be thinner by the time you are done with both sides :thumbup:
