My bk10 will probably be here today, my bk2 is currently covered in paint stripper, and I won $100 Saturday night with my points card when I fueled up the truck I drive. Soooooooooooooooooooo now I get to order that bk11 that I've wanted for a while, but kept ordering other things instead. Next, I think I'll strip my 7 and probably put a patina on the 2. I think I might also start making a set of scales for the 11 while I wait for it to get here. Would anyone be willing to trace a set of scales for the bk11, scan it, and email it to me? Then I can get some scales started!!! Only bad thing is that I have to sleep soon, so I can get up and go to work again tonight. :grumpy:

You will probably find it easiest to do scales that fit perfectly off of the knife. Mine is a CSM version, and that evidently varies slightly from the standard version. What kinda scales are you planning on making?

Hmmmmm, maybe I will wait then. I'm planning on using deer antler for scales.
