It's a crappy day outside, but a pretty damn good day in my office...

These things multiple like rabbits... A Wharnie wasn't even on my radar but we all know how that goes.

The Wharnie went right in my pocket. Haven't been able to bring myself to use the DLC Spanto yet though.
Eventually.

For cutting purpose, does the wharnie exceed the slicer or spanto grind? Noticeable difference?

I'm wondering if there will be a 3" model.

"For cutting purpose" is a little too vague. All three blade styles cut just fine in general and are sharpened similarly with similar blade bevels, etc.

A 3" wharnie? Yes, there will.

Rob knows exactly how to keep the want for more alive, doesn't he???

DLC Slicer is a favorite of mine!!!

i know how you feel im looking for my third xm already. happens to be a wharnie also

You're off and running now, great start on your collection! I say start because, well, there will be more… for example, as others have said, a slicer would round things out nicely ;)

My wharnie occupies my pocket more than any other grind..

That's something I'd like to see!

I don't have one but like the wharnie grind the slicer tip is a little far back for chopping boxes which I do a lot I need the point. However on the wharnie it is a straight grind which scares me you dull the tip and you have to re grind the whole edge straight I can see me going through blades fast. I think the wharnie grind with a slight curve so you still have some slicer blade to use it the best this way you can slice a piece of steak if need be but you can still get the tip into something and if you dull the tip you don't need to take metal away from he entire blade.

Thanks :) I think being the 3" makes it tougher. But I think they're about to start 3" production or already have :)
