The real story is the basic was so sharp when it hit the bone I instintivley jerked & caused the second cut.

Not paying attention when resheathing a Busse = 27 stitches, 7 inside 20 outside !!!!!
 
Sorry, no competition to DB's massacre. My foot was starting the side-shuffle when it was pierced. The cut is about 0.25" long, which makes it around the same deep. I'll take pics tomorrow.

Oh well, it could have been worse! That nice kniife could have hit a tile floor and blunted the tip! You'll heal, BJB! :p :D :p

It’s amazing how much time you have to think about the coming pain before it hits.. :D
I usually manage to get a few mental “oh dears” in before impact, but never think to move my foot out of the way. ;):D
