1) People texting or talking on their phone while driving. Usually they are so busy waving their arms around while talking, they don`t pay attention to what they are supposed to be doing - driving!

2) People who pull out in front of you, then drive 10 mph below the speed limit.

3) Bicycle riders who ride in the middle of the road, holding up traffic. Then, when they come to a 4 way stop, they blow right through it!

4) People who receive their new knives, and can`t even bother sending me an email to let me know it arrived. I know, I use delivery confirmation, but it would be the courteous thing to do.

Rant mode off (for now)

Been guilty of number 4 on occasion. I have had at least two close accidents with people doing number 1 and thankfully it is now an offence in my area.

HAHA! Some of my biggest pet peeves too. Allow me to add:

ME: Hello, do you have any questions about...?
THEM: Ummm, no
ME: Ok let me know, I will be right over here.
THEM: (After I walk away) Oh I guess I have a question...

Seriously! Just because someone asks if you have one doesn't mean you need to ask one! You can say yes, then ask! LOL

I attribute the things that tick me off to society protecting people who should not be allowed to procreate. If someone wants to blow-dry their hair while standing in the shower enjoying a glass of rat poison, we should let them.

Well now I feel kind of bad because I just sent John an e-mail about my tin knife arriving and I didn't send it at lunch when I received it.

Things that tick me off come out to a pretty long list, so let's generalize a bit, shall we?

People who think they are more important than everyone else--I see this at work all the time with people who think they deserve VIP treatment, and I see it outside of work with snooty people who turn their nose up at everyone not wearing fancy name-brand clothes and accessories and driving a car that costs 6 digits.

Man, it really sucks when people go number 1 on you!! :p:D

Pet peeves:
Blue tooth guy...you know what I'm talking about.
Fake fighter guy. If you're a fighter, that's cool. If not, stop pretending.
Lifted trucks with low profile tires...if you have one, sorry, I just think they are ridiculous.

A little rant now and then helps keep your perspective...right?

Buddy, I guess it sure is a good thing that you wrote these things that "Tick Us Off" and not me! I agree with everyone of these that you wrote but, I bet I would have such a long list of things that Forums would kick me out of here! LOL! I always tell Yvonne, "I guess it is a very good thing that I am not in charge of things"! Ha! Ha!

I guess that I have a few as well.......

People that are cocky, but not really good at anything
People that are cruel, especially those that are cruel to animals
People that discount things or other people that are different from them
People that refuse to try new things or consider other ideas or ways of looking at something

and Numero Uno.......

My wife, when we disagree and she's actually right (this seems to happen quite often)!

I share the same sentiment of the above mentioned things. Here are a few others:

Politicians who try to tell me how to raise my children, what I should eat, try to take my right to own a firearm away, tell me what kind of vehicle I should purchase, and try to take the hard earned money from my wife and I and "redistribute" it to some lazy butt who thinks they are entitled to it.... etc.:mad:

Also, I am so sick and tired of people with their dang phones in public. I can't tell you how many times I've been talking to someone and they have to interrupt the conversation a dozen times because they are either texting and/or receiving a text or phone message.:mad:

That's it for now, I better go take my blood pressure medicine..:D

Riverwarrior, you sure have some more good examples there! I sure agree with all of what you had to say too!

Now I see on the daily news that some school, I'm not sure where it was but, they are going to force the children and parents to buy the childrens lunches at school, the the child will not be allowed to bring a bagged lunch to school, calling it a health realated thing! Can real American's imagine this? What happened to our right to make our own decissions? Actually what happened to FREEDOM? Our government has taken those rights away from us under our own noses, because everyone of us can't sit down to read a 6000 page book of bills trying to be passed into laws, and these kinds of things are written into them, in the small print! That is why we elect Congressmen and Senators but, they are all selling us down the river! But, I garantee you that they are writting all of their benefits into those bills under the wires too. Like free educations for their families, and a bunch of other things that I don't have time or space to list!

The phone thing is driving me nuts too! Not to speak of the amount of people that are getting smashed up and killed in the car accidents and things because people are talking on the phone. I am so sick of trying to go out to a restaurant to have a nice quiet meal with my wife, and there are cell phones going off all around you! You would think that people would want to keep their personal business to them selves but, they seem to want everyone else in the Restaurant to know what is going on in their life too! I am surprised more of them are not attached and robbed! They tell everyone where they live, where they keep their money, when the are going to be going on vacation, and when they are headed to Florida for the winter season! It amazes me, and it is really a good thing I take my blood pressure medicine every day!

Later guys!
