Think I'm in love...and may have a problem

So my NMFSH from the ganza showed up yesterday and I have to say this thing is a mean puppy. As my first Busse I wasn't sure what to expect and worried about the handle being big for my small hands, but man this thing is awesome. Looks beautiful yet extremely functional. I bought it to replace my Cold Steel Trailmaster (which now lies somewhere near the confluence of the Meramec and Mississippi rivers) and I think this blade would chop the Cold Steel in half. The blue liners provide a cool contrast as well. To top it all off, the sheath I ordered from Mr. Brown arrived yesterday as well and is perfect. Will play around in the kitchen with this knife over the weekend and put it in to hard use in the near future.

Here is the problem, I told myself I only needed 1 Busse to replace the Trailmaster as I have plenty of other nice knives for general carry and hunting, yet I'm already thinking I need a smaller Busse and a Ratmandu. Hell, I'm even thinking "how much Busse bucks can I buy tomorrow?" My credit card is going to hate me lol.

Please don't take this thread as a pompous brag or anything, I'm just really impressed with this blade and wanted to share my enthusiasm. Oh and sorry for the bad pics, I'm in no way a good photographer.

Beautiful, black & red g10 is my favorite! I told myself I wanted a Busse 2 months ago and ordered a tanker grey TGLB with red and black g10, in the mean time I bought a satin finished HG55 with tigerhide and a hell razor terror monkey. Busses need to have one of those call xxx-xxx-xxxx if you have a problem numbers on the tactical cardboard

ETA: I also ordered an AMS last night so your not alone with the problem and congrats on a beautiful blade

Welcome to the addiction. Busse Knives are like potato chips, can't have just a few dozen! :eek:
I think an AMS, LMS, or Ratmandu would go great with your new NMFSH. ;)
 
Nice. The blue liners make it pop.

I had a SanMai Trailmaster.

I sold it once I had a Battlemistress LE.
 
Wow sounds like your hooked :eek::eek::thumbup::) welcome to Busse/Busse kin madness !!!!! That's a great start you've got there ! The NMFSH is a great blade imo. The AMS, SOB, and Ratmandu are all great knives too. I particularly like the SOB !!!

Awesome knife man. It leaves the Trailmaster for dead. Sounds like you've been bitten by the Busse bug bad :)
 
That is an awesome blade :thumbup:. . . . Congrats! It's an awesome first Busse, that's for sure.
