The steel is 1008. It took a good 15mins to pound it in that far. My arm got tired.
I actually expected to crack the Shuriken, mushroom the top or break off the point. All it did was leave some small marks where the hammer hit. The guys at the Knife Throwing Competition had fun with them.
What really surprised me was one of the Master Samuri swordsman bought one after seeing this one!
