Think we'll ever see RATs with different steels?

Howdy!
Simply as the title says....

As popular as RAT-1/2s are, is there any talk of these guys having different steel options?

Personally, I'd like to see VG-10.
Maybe 1095?
As far as I'm concerned, the way RATs are built, I think they're underpriced anyway. YMMV.

What do you think? Would you buy one/be willing to pay for it?

They have established a great rep in their price category...If it ain't broke....

I have not bought a rat 1 for one reason, I don't need another knife with aus 8 steel. Now if they went with say D2, I'm ordering one.

I like that they have kept it a great affordable entry level knife. Aus8 is fine for most folks

I really don't think the difference between VG10 and AUS8 is significant enough to warrant a change. I wouldn't mind to see a Rat2 with S30v steel and G10 scales. I know the Spyderco factory in Taiwan has an S30v hookup, it wouldn't be that hard to pull off.
