thinking about a black jack tac ops.....

i'm thinking bout getting the blackjack tac ops 8 in A2 steel. Never had a knife in A2 before, any opinions on whether to get it in A2 or 1095?

ps will not see too much hard use, i live in the city an dont get out nearly as much as i would like

The higher alloyed A2 offers better edge retention and is a little more corrosion resistant then simple 1095.

I have the Tac-Ops 8 A2 proto. Bought it based on a review here on BF. Good knife but I wish I had gone with the 6, the 8 is just a little too big for me. The A2 is great but I'm sure the 1095 would serve you well also. If you have smallish hands you probably wont like the grip very much. The sheath that came with it is good- to-go. No rattle and nice retention.
