So I am looking at both... Here's my thoughts/questions:

Bluephin... 3.75 vs 4.00.. ?
I think a military feels a little big in my hand, but I LOVE the para 2...
However, I think a commander and cold steel Hatamoto (3.75 and 4") feel perfect.

Anyone here regret getting the 4.000 Bluephin instead of the 3.75 or vice versa?

The hamachi looks amazing, just don't see any of them in population.

Have a 3.75 Bluephin, great knife. I can give an in depth review of it if you'd like. I'm on the books for a Hamachi, and I gotta tell ya, Pohan is a class act. Responds to my emails, is patient on my indecisiveness to choose handle materials, and does not charge a lot of money at all for a stellar fully handmade product. You and anybody reading this thread should get on his books while they're still open!

I thought I would regret getting the smaller Bluephin, but have no regrets. I have XL hands, like big folders (CQC-8, Super Commander, Strider AR) and had some reservations about getting the smaller vs. larger version. I may still pick up the 4" bladed version but the 3.75" is plenty big enough for larger hands. You won't be disappointed, great knife. Super tight tolerances, like the bearing system, etc.

If you personally prefer the Para to the full sized Military I would suggest the smaller Bluephin.
