What are you planning on using the knife for after these mods?

You're taking off quite a bit of metal in these mods, so it won't be quite as tough as it was initially. If thats no big deal, and you like it, then why not?

Seems pointless, I would only mod i knife to gain a significant amount of usefulness. I recommend leaving it.
