Hi,
I'm thinking about putting together a new 'go' bag. This one is a little different because I'm looking to become involved with my city in emergency support roles -- CERT type stuff (if you're familiar with California emergency response teams). But I'm also looking into the city's amateur radio ARES team, which provides emergency communications support when the whole world falls down.
Upshot is, I need (want?) a bag loaded with radio gear, plus other stuff useful in an urban SAR role. I'm shying away from a backpack because I want to be able to access the gear easily while on the move.
To this end, I've been eyeing the Maxpedition Mongo Versipack, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with this bag, good or bad.
Barring that, what bag would you use for the stated purpose?
Thanks.
